    Feroz Khan’s uncle shot dead: a warning?

    Preggy Padayachee, who spoke for Feroz Khan’s family on the night Khan was shot in June, has been named as the man shot dead on the R21 in Ekurhuleni on the evening of Monday 5 October 2026. Khan was due to give evidence to the Madlanga Commission behind closed doors the next day. The commission has since postponed that evidence to a date still to be set. The police say the motive is unknown and nobody has been arrested.
